With an easing of lockdown restrictions, some of our favourite outdoor attractions and gardens are re-opening over the coming weeks. Lots do still have some restrictions in place and require pre-booking, I have included details below but please check out details directly before travelling.

Visit the outside areas of the beautiful 16 acre site. Including: Outdoor museum exhibits, farm animals, nature trail, Viking village, Roman fort and railway station platform.
If you hold a 12 month ticket your right to return will be extended by 3 months. During the period that only the outside areas are open there is the option to pay half price to access for the day only.

29th March the introduction of the rule of 6 or two households being able to meet outside applies. Also the travel restrictions are relaxing to ‘minimal’ rather than ‘stay at home’. This means we get to welcome more visitors and want to reassure you that we have everything in place to bring you a safe and enjoyable day out for all!

From the 18th May – • The grand opening of the newly renovated Coach House Cafe
All going well, the final restrictions should be lifted on the 21st June which mean Sledmere House will finally be reopened for pre-booked tours from 22nd.
They have put many procedures in place one being the limited ticket online booking (Click Here to Book)
From Saturday 27th March onwards our gardens, woodland, and adventure playground are open daily from 11am until 5pm.
They will be serving takeaway seasonal food, baked treats and great coffee and hot drinks. Plants raised in the walled garden will be for sale.

Pay by contactless or cash. Please let us know how you are paying when you book. Choose to play Footgolf or the Adventure Footgolf Course. Adults £6 Children £4. From Monday 8th March, we re-open seven days a week 10am to 4pm with last entry at 3.30pm.
Up to Monday 29th March, we are open 10am to 4pm for local exercise only.
Up to 31st March, the reduced entrance price for non-members of £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for children remains in place.
Our New Season will commence from Thursday 1st April. From this date, we will to be open 7 days a week from 10am to 5.30pm (with last entry at 4.30pm). Our new spring / summer entry prices will be published nearer to that date. Pre-booking will remain in place.
The Lilypad Café will remain closed until 12th April, but will provide a takeaway service from Monday 8th March.
The Children’s Play Area will be fully open from Thursday 1st April.
The Gift Shop will re-open on 12th April in an exciting new format – further details to be announced nearer the date.
Between 27th March and 11th April 2021, the gardens, café (takeaway-only, no seating available), play area and toilets will be open, and admission prices will reflect the limited offer. Tickets are available on their website, advance booking is advised to guarantee admission.
If Government restrictions allow, the next phase of reopening is 12th April, with the zoo reopening and the outdoor seating policy returning to the café.
