An action packed family day out celebrating the work of the many Emergency Services across the UK. Last year’s 999 Emergency Day was a huge success, with a diverse range of Emergency Services personnel all joining us to talk to visitors about their various roles and how they all work together.
The Museum Fire Team – a great chance to meet the team behind the safety cover on our live aircraft events. Our in house fire team will be here with our two huge Pathfinder Fire and Rescue vehicles. Maintained in fully working order, they provide the safety cover that enable us to run our live aircraft.
Meet Emergency Teams – emergency services teams from across the region will be here to explain how they work and the specialist skills they deploy in emergencies.
Famous Sunday Roast in the NAAFI – the Museum’s NAAFI restaurant will be serving traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.
Join us again as even more of the regions emergency organisations visit the Museum as we celebrate the great work they do.
