Cancer is indescriminate, it touches everyone. Sadly on the 2nd January 2006 Colin Avison, Karls dad, passed away after a cancer diagnosis. In support of MacMillan Cancer, who supported Colin and the family, Karl has signed up for the ‘MacMillan Ride of Their Lives’. A 9 furlong race around the famous ‘Knavesmire’, York Racecourse on the 15th Jun 2019.
Karl aims to raise £10,000 for MacMillan Support and so Cedarbarn have teamed up with McMillans’s of Malton hosting ‘an Evening of Gin’. Three bars showcasing the best gins from Yorkshire, Scotland and the ‘Rest of the World’ will be on offer. So come along, enjoy a gin or two and support Karl in the ‘Ride of his Life’.
