Tickets are £25 and include a drink from the Piglets café and a mini first aid kit to take away with you.
This Family First Aid course runs for approximately 2 hours. Workshops are run in small groups to ensure that you can get the most out of your day. Allowing time for questions and interaction. A mini first aid kit and a drink of your choice is also included in the price of the course. With training provided by an experienced nurse, in a relaxed environment.
The aim of this workshop is to help you feel more prepared and confident. With a focus on baby & child first aid, we do also cover adults in our scenarios as families tend to have a few of those too! Hopefully you will not have to use any of the information you are given on this course, however, should the need arise you will have the knowledge to respond effectively which could be potentially lifesaving.

This course is perfect for parent’s, carer’s, step-parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends and anyone else who may be in the presence of or at times responsible for a baby or child. There are manikins available should you wish to practice your new skills, however because this course is not assessed there is no formal requirement for you to do this. You are welcome to bring babies and children along to the course with you, there is a small play area available in the cafe to keep them entertained.
