ARC Malton Open Day is a celebration of horseracing in one of the sport’s heartlands. A unique and exciting day out for racing fans of all ages, the day is split in to open yards from 8.45 until 12noon, followed by a full programme of family fun at Highfield Gallops from 12.30-17.00. Those opening their doors to the public including prolific trainer Richard Fahey, where visitors can take their chance to meet the likes of the Huxley Stakes victor Forest Ranger and this year’s Royal Ascot Jersey Stakes winner Space Traveller. Northern dual-purpose supremo Brian Ellison also throws open his yard gates to the public this year, with the opportunity to meet star chaser Definitely Red and winner of the 2018 Cheltenham Greatwood Hurdle Nietzsche one absolutely not to miss. The Injured Jockeys Fund’s Northern base, Jack Berry House, will also welcome visitors from 10.00 until 14.00, allowing a rare chance to look around this amazing facility.
The afternoon’s events include Flyball, Pony Club showjumping relay, a dog show and terrier racing and promise to deliver fun and entertainment for all. With a range of superb shopping stalls and a variety of food and drink on offer, ARC Malton Open Day is ready to welcome you for an unforgettable family day out.
