Scampston will be hosting its Autumn Community Weekend again for Ryedale residents on 12th and 13th October, free of charge.
The Community Weekend offers visitors the chance to see the transition that the garden has been through across the open season. The Walled Garden embraces the natural seasonality and is known for its later development than other more traditional gardens. The swathes of golden grasses are an example of the striking autumnal hues that can be seen within the garden.
To gain free entry, residents are asked to bring proof of a Ryedale postcode. With delicious and warming options available in the garden café, an October outing at Scampston shapes up to be the perfect autumnal day out!
