Sensory woodland workshop for children aged 2-5 at Northwood Trail – England’s Fairy Sanctuary – Our most magical and breathtaking venue yet!
During the two hour session expect to take part in carefully planned activities:
-Talk about all of the wonders that you will see in the extraordinary fairy museum…you may even spot a dragon egg!
-Experience the autumnal grotto at Northwood Trail together
-Make your very own tot and grown up journey stick so that you can discuss your experience back at home
-Take a sensory walk with a magnifying glass and blindfold and, if you feel adventurous, bare feet…
-Decorate and make your own family fairy home
-Build your own fairy doorway
-Prepare some food together to take home for tea
-Story sacks in the woods allow little imaginations to flourish
-Make a fairy woodland sensory bottle and take hope your own piece of the magic

Children under the age of two can attend free with their grown ups and our qualified team are on hand to work with your toddler should you need to feed, change, comfort or guide your younger child through our activities more closely.
