Welcome summer with our happy hens!
Over 34 million eggs are eaten daily in the UK a year, but do you know how yours are produced? Bring your family down to the egg farm this bank holiday (Monday 28h May 10-4pm) for our free Summer Salutation Fete, and learn more about the amazing egg!
Hold a happy hen and ask Farmer Ben:

• Why are eggs the new superfood?
• And how to select the perfect poaching egg
Are you brave enough for a feather fight?
Other activities will include good old fashioned English games: coconut shy, guess the weight of the pig, corn toss and egg and spoon races, as well as the more unorthodox feather fights and egg battles. Chow down on delicious wood-fired pizza from Knead ‘n’ Feed in Wetherby, explore the vegetable garden and welcome in summer with an ice cream from the farm shop!
