Fyling Hall School is a small, non-selective, independent school with a big heart, over-looking Robin Hood’s Bay. We are a co-educational day and boarding school for children aged 4 to 18 with a nurturing family-like atmosphere and small class sizes (average 1:7 staff to student ration) that allows each individual to thrive. Fyling Hall pupils nearly always exceed predicted grades and baseline scores. We offer affordable fees, an individulised approach to learning and a dedicated Learning Support depart, that insures bespoke support to meet the needs of pupils. With onsite stables, we offer optional horse-riding during sports lessons.
Junior School students benefit from weekly forest school, swimming, specialist senior school teachers, use of all senior school facilities and a seamless transition to Senior School. Senior school students benefit from small class sizes, regular field-trips and enrichment activities, work experience, a sixth form centre and a personal approach to subject options. We offer GCSEs, A-Levels, EPQ, practical/ vocational performing arts qualifications, ceramics and photography to A-Level.
“The pupils’ personal development is outstanding; from the earliest age they are willing to take on responsibility. Older pupils look after younger ones and the whole school community works as a large family.” (ISI Inspection)
