There is always loads of fun to be had at Flamingo Land and of course the start of the summer holidays is no exception…
Party in the Park returns on Saturday 28th July with S Club 3 as part of 90’s weekend. Party in the Park is part of general admission to the theme park for that day for both day and staying guests, including those staying in the campsite. Alternatively, it is £10 for post 5pm admission for an hour of theme park and zoo then the concert – book on the Flamingo Land website here.
Obviously there is all the usual theme park fun too. There is a great choice of junior and family rides. All the attractions in Dino-Stone Park have a dinosaur theme. Soar 45 metres into the air on the Pterodactyl swing, spin on the family coaster Twistosaurus and pedal on Cyclosaur. See animatronic dinosaurs, life-size Dino skeletons and search for dinosaur bones in the Dino Dig sand.
Be amazed at our daily Pirates of Zanzibar outdoor show on the Black Heart galleon ship, with singing, dancing, special effects and acrobatics!
Flamingo 1 – NEW FOR 2018 – You can enjoy driving 2 seater family racing cars over a 380-metre circuit. Featuring a figure-of-eight format, you and your fellow competitors can enjoy side-by-side gentle racing over three individual lanes. Whilst the majority of the circuit is outdoors, it also passes through our Hub building where spectators can watch the action from a dedicated elevated viewing area, whilst enjoying champion fish and chips. You can create your own best friend at Teddy Mountain, where after selecting your chosen bear, you can add stuffing to it yourself and select its outfit.
Peter Rabbit – Hit Cbeebies animated series Peter Rabbit arrived at Flamingo Land with a Peter Rabbit Adventure playground. Explore the Secret Tree House and hop along to Jeremy Fisher’s musical pond to explore giant instruments and learn about sounds from the giant lily pads. We are sure fans of all ages will love exploring Lily Bobtail’s Nature Discovery where you can climb on tunnels and find creepy crawly creatures in Bug Log.
You can meet Peter Rabbit himself, located by the Mansion House & Tea Rooms at 12.30pm and 3pm. You can also see Benjamin Bunny in the Sail Away farewell show at the exit of the theme park at 5pm (weather permitting). And brand new for 2018, you can listen to a Peter Rabbit and Lily Bobtail Story Time (£5 per child, with one free adult, additional adults £5).
Flamingo Land zoo has 140 species of reptiles, mammals and birds, you can enjoy an amazing view of the animal kingdom. A variety of Keeper Talks and a sea lion and bird show are included within your admission. For unrestricted views, meander through the lemur, wallaby and rainbow lorikeet walkways. You can book yourself into a choice of Animal Experiences in advance to enjoy during your visit.
Last August, our female Sumatran tiger cub Menya was born, so keep an eye out for her in our award winning animal collection.
The fun continues into August with the Gruffalo on 11th August, Pixie Lott on Saturday 18th August and Vengaboys (90’s weekend) on Saturday 1st September.
