During the first two Sundays in December we’re getting into the Christmas spirit at Rievaulx Abbey. Join us as the Bilsdale Silver Band play all of your favourite traditional tunes in the atmospheric abbey church.
Feel free to stop by for some Christmas cheer as you explore the ruins, or grab a song sheet and join in.
We’d recommend extending your afternoon out with a winter walk from the nearby town of Helmsley. Park up near the castle then follow our map to the abbey – there’s nothing better to beat those winter blues.
The abbey gift shop will be open for you to browse as a great alternative to high street shops and there’ll be mead tasting too. So wrap up warm and come along for an afternoon of festive fun.
