Christmas Pantomimes & Festive Shows

Bridlington Spa presents a Paul Holman Associates production: Jack and the Beanstalk. The pantomime adventure that grows and grows! 14th December 2024 to 5th January 2025.

With nothing but a handful of magic beans, Jack must find the courage to slay the evil giant in his quest to win the hand of the Princess and free his village of tyranny forever. With Dame Dolly and Daisy the Cow, Silly Simon and King Crumble adding plenty of comedy chaos and calamities along the way, join our hero on the most magical adventure as he climbs the beanstalk to Cloud Land!

Multi-award-winning actor Bill Ward, probably best known for his work on two of the country’s leading soaps, Coronation Street and Emmerdale, is headlining this year’s panto as the giant’s sidekick, Fleshcreep. Starring alongside Bill are cast favourites Troy Harris as Muddles with Joe Standerline returning as Dame Trott and Brian Blessed as the voice of Giant Blunderbore.

Aladdin

Sponsored by Boyes

Friday 29th November – Saturday 28th December 2024

This Christmas we’re revisiting another classic. The story of a poor boy from a distant land, tricked by a sorcerer into retrieving a remarkable lamp from a magical cave… we all know this one.

Or do we…?

Because what if that cave was more magical than Aladdin or the sorcerer had ever imagined? What if the cave he wandered into isn’t the cave he wanders out of? What if, in fact, Aladdin finds himself outside Hairy Bob’s cave on a cold winter’s night?

A wind ravaged Marine Drive is no place for a lad in threadbare clothes and sandals. He’ll need to get from Scarboresia (oh yes) back to his home, but it’ll take more than a genie’s three wishes – especially when he’s blown the first two on hot chocolate and a Parka!

From the team who brought you Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, expect a brand new adventure packed with silliness, thrills, spills, singalongs and fantastical family fun.
