Due to continued growth, we’re recruiting a Social Media & Content Manager to join our remote team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a small business that’s achieving great things with year on year growth. We’re a UK business with an entirely remote team distributed all over the world.
We’re an online training business (https://goliathsourcingacademy.com/) and we teach people how to find property (real estate) deals, either to keep and grow their own portfolio or to package and sell to other investors for a fee.

JOB OVERVIEW Our social strategy is broadly based around the Gary Varnerchuk model of starting with a pillar piece of content and repurposing it by creating multiple short form pieces of content from it. The short form content is distributed across all relevant social platforms with the goal of driving traffic back to the pillar content.
To identify the best moments from our audio and video pillar content, edit it and repurpose into short form content to drive traffic back to that pillar content. Post on all relevant social platforms, drive engagement and grow following.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Identify the best moments from pillar content (both new and ‘archive’ content) to create short form content from.
Understanding of audience required in order to identify moments that will resonate with them.
Understand formats for key social platforms – FB, Linkedin, Twitter, Insta, Youtube
Distribute pillar and short form content with goal of driving engagement and traffic to pillar content.
Listen to audience where distributed and identify what pieces of content resonated with them.
With the insights from the audience make more short form content that resonated with them.
Distribute this second round of content across all platforms
Short form content must appear unique and ‘original’ – requires editing and production skills as well as an understanding of what types, style and format of content works on each platform.
Basic copywriting skills required to write custom copy and titles for all repurposed short form content.
Identify key moments in existing content that resonates with the audience
Video editing eg b-roll etc
Understanding of how to use video clip and audiogram apps
Video captioning and titling
Video thumbnail design
Ability to use various editing techniques to create engaging short form video
Enough copywriting skills to create unique and engaging headlines and short social posts
