You can here! I have 2 pairs of Friday tickets and what is more is you pop across to the Scarborough & Whitby Mumbler website HERE you can win a pair of Saturday tickets.
Staxtonbury an even longer weekend for anyone who wants even more fun and excitement. This year, as a trial, we are starting a day earlier on Thursday 4th July 2019, having a longer day on Friday 5th (2pm to late) and the same as usual on Saturday 6th (12 noon to late). Whilst on the Sunday you will be able to have a lie-in, have breakfast and then pack up at your leisure. This new format allows you to have an extra night’s stay and five hours more entertainment, which in turn gives more bands and artists chance to have a go on our fantastic stages.
Of course, you can still come on a daily basis, or indeed any combination of the three days. Thursday will work out free if purchased with Friday/Saturday tickets. We hope some of you will be able to take Friday 5th July 2019 off to make this a long weekend for you, but don’t worry if you can’t as you will still get great value for your money if coming on Friday evening or on Saturday.
2018 Has seen a resurgence in the number of new local bands that have started up, some of which we have pencilled in for their Staxtonbury debuts in 2019. We have already booked massively popular Boomin, Huge, Soul Rida and Friday Street, along with the Essential Pet Shop Boys (tribute) and 2019 will see the return of the Cloughton Rat Pack. Of course, The Shamrockers and Blue Alibi will be there and lots of the new bands including a Fleetwood Mac tribute, and some 1960s and 70s covers bands, that will form part of our new idea of having a dedicated 70s and 80s stage on the evenings.
Magic Mike and friends will be adorning the kids stage along with the top local entertainer Ryan Swain and his cheeky friend Frank Lamingo. The Moo Music Crew will be hosting music sessions for the little ones and there will be plenty of activities from ages three to 93. Fiona’s Arts and Craft Marquee is going to be busier than ever.
