Friday’s for You is a mix between an Open Day and a personalised visit. During a Friday’s for You open Friday, parents and prospective pupils are given the opportunity to see the school in action on a normal day. This is different from an Open Day, during which you do not see children in lessons or teachers teaching. Unlike a personalised visit, a F4U open Friday does not include a meeting with the Headmaster and therefore it is perfect for those families who are still quite unsure as to what to do next.
Friday’s For You takes place every last Friday of the month, as long as it is in term time. The next F4U takes place on Friday 26 November. As this F4U is fully booked, you can now book the Friday’s For You on 28 January 2022.
The name Friday’s for You came about by accident. We realised many mums and dads would have to take the Friday afternoon off, so that they could visit Scarborough College. In a way, it reminded us of the days we have taken a Friday afternoon off for whatever reason. It was almost something to celebrate. We thought we should look at F4U as a celebration too, so do not be surprised to find some treats at the end of your tour.
