Tess is a registered Health Visitor and mother of 4 children who moved down from Scotland at the end of 2018. Running Safe Healthy Happy outside of her job she hopes to bring empowerment to families and individuals who are looking for safe ways to keep themselves and their family healthy and happy.
Firstly through the power of touch we can rest, relax and relieve stress.
The AromaTouch Technique is all about creating an emotional connection, and the science behind that connection is as validated as it is compelling. Tactile communication is our first form of communication. We begin receiving tactile signals in the womb, and then touch plays a critical role in parent-child relationships before verbal communication is possible. It is, in essence, the first sense we acquire, and it is astonishingly effective.
Aroma is a vital component of the Aromatouch Technique because it instantaneously prompts powerful emotional, physiological, and biochemical responses. As research has exhibited, activating your olfactory system can direct your mind to specific memories, relax you and positively influence the function of different body systems.
Safe Healthy Happy also offers baby massage plus classes, introducing a little more to your normal baby massage sessions. Discover the power of touch to help with your child’s wellbeing, feeding, digestion, relaxation and sleep. Helping carers bond with and learn about their baby, build confidence and help combat low mood and anxiety. Introducing essential oils to sooth and calm – oils and instructions provided. Also introducing Story Massage, as a gentle and relaxing way to combine storytelling and massage. With time to chat, get support and share experiences, partners welcome
Other services on offer include essential oils classes that are arranged bespoke for individuals or client groups covering introduction to essential oils, essential oils in pregnancy and birth, best for babies, women’s health and perfume making, as well as workshops looking more at the aromatouch technique to enable you to do it with your family.
