Visit on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of December and discover Castle Howard in a new light as night falls. Enjoy the House adorned by candlelight and the smell of burning log fires with live music and entertainment throughout the evening.
Join us for a party night with the New York Brass Band and Father Christmas. Enjoy an uplifting seasonal repertoire in the Boar Garden Marquee with the New York Brass Band, who will be joined by Father Christmas for a musical procession around the North Front Christmas Tree. Willowpool Designs will also be entertaining the crowd with Christmas willow entertainment, enjoy their demonstrations and join in with their willow weaving workshops to learn how to make willow stars, reindeer, baskets and much more.
Earlier Father Christmas will be in and around the House to meet children and for photographs and WonderPhil will be showing off his magic tricks.
The New York Brass Band will be playing 6pm – 8pm on Saturday, and 5pm – 7pm on Sunday, with Father Christmas and WonderPhil making an appearance from 6pm – 8pm on both evenings.
The House and Stable Courtyard will be open until 7pm throughout the weekend. Seasonal refreshments and drinks will be available in the Boar Garden Marquee until 8pm.
The perfect opportunity for some late night shopping. Our Fitzroy Restaurant, Gift Shop, Carriage House Shop and Market Stalls will be open until 8pm.
