For the third year running, Yorkshire Companions will be providing a day of Early Medieval fun and activities at the Sutton Bank Visitor Centre. There will be displays and information, friendly Anglo-Saxons to talk to, and children’s crafts. These include shield making, colouring and lettering, runes, poetry and story telling, as well as the chance for the kids to join in an Anglo-Saxon Shield Wall.
