Have you ever wanted to learn to cook like a Viking? York Archaeological Trust are bringing one of their very own JORVIK Vikings from Jorvik Viking are coming to demonstrate the cooking techniques of our Nordic ancestors at their stall in the main square.
Sample the delights of 10th century cuisine- provided by the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School – and get immersed in the ‘daily grind’- milling flour with a traditional rotary quern
