A good family day out with lots to do. Many rides and areas suitable for young children, lots of outdoor play areas and a large zoo. Cafes get busy but lots of picnic areas to take your own food in. During the Winter Season, from November onwards the zoo is open to the public for a discounted price, no rides are open, but some of the areas are still accessible. There is also a caravan park on site to extend your stay.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in most areas theme park, but not in the zoo, Children’s Planet or Splish Splosh. Assistance dogs have unrestricted access.
