The egg-straordinary Easter Adventure is back at Stockeld Park from the 2nd – 24th April!
This Easter the most egg-citing things are happening all around the park, including a new Rainbow Bunny Hunt! Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Giant Easter Eggs around the park, which characters can you spot?
The Enchanted Forest is as magical as ever, with 5 Adventure Playgrounds and lots of interactive place, there’s something to see at every corner! Swings, slides, zip lines and ropes there’s endless fun to be had! As you wander around the Enchanted Forest make sure to complete your Easter trail card, you might even be in with a chance of winning a special Stockeld prize!
New for the Easter Adventure this year is the Golden Ticket Panto! The Stockolate Factory is opening its gates for the first time in 25 years! Could you be the lucky winner of a golden ticket? Join us this Easter for our interactive, family fun, chocolatetastic panto! The panto will have three showings a day and will be on daily from Friday to Tuesday.
Spring is the most beautiful time in the woods and it is a real pleasure to watch everything waking up and beginning to grow. We’d love it if you joined us for our Easter celebrations – there might be some chocolate eggs involved and the odd white rabbit or two.

Easter Fairy Wand Making AND The Fairy Trail
A crafting experience to create your own Easter bonnet, woodland friends or Fairy Wand.
Only over a few days either side of the easter weekend at 4.30pm. will last approximately 1 hour. tickets include the trail so arrive early to enjoy the trail and fairy museum first and get inspiration!
Easter story telling with Barnaby Knibbles & Madam Coco Souffle The fairies have played tricks and Madam Coco Souffle needs the help of the audience to undo the fairies tricks and save Easter. Interactive Story telling and chocolate, what could be better? Dates: April 13th, 14h, 20th, 21st, and 22nd. Times: 12 noon, 1.30pm, and 3pm
This Easter Woldie Willow has a special Easter Trail to follow. From the willow warren rabbit tunnels to the giant spider’s web, find all the animals in their habitats, spot the hidden eggs and crack the code to win a chocolate prize!
Discover nature gardens, trails and play at Woldies Lavender & Nature Farm. In a beautiful 12 acre setting of lavender, wildflowers and woodland you will find nature activities and games for all the family to enjoy together.
A new exciting addition is the Bees & Friends Garden. Make your way through the honeycomb to the giant observational bee hive, become a pollinator and pollinate the giant flower, help Woldie Willow track bumblebees and find out how honey is made.
Favourite activities at Woldie’s include counting and learning about different types of butterflies in the butterfly garden, spotting birds in the bird hide, and looking out for fish, frogs, newts and more in the nature ponds.
Plus don’t forget to ride the miniature railway, drop by the den zone, challenge your family to a game of foot golf and get lost in the willow maze with insect orienteering to find along the way.
Your mission: find out if spring really has sprung at Castle Howard!
Together with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, this Easter join Castle Howard for a new Wildlife Detective Trail around the gardens. Get lost in the canopy of the Ray Wood trees and uncover the beautiful creatures in the some of the muddier parts of the grounds as you explore Castle Howard against the backdrop of the changing seasons. You’ll be provided with a trail map and an explorer pack as you venture to different stations across the estate, each will reveal activities and clues as you discover the wandering wildlife getting ready for spring!

Have fun (re-)discovering the area, spotting things you’ve never noticed before, with Curious About Walks – quirky treasure hunt style heritage walks.
Curious About Walks are a safe fun and affordable way to get outside for some fresh air for a couple of hours in the holidays. They are a low cost, inclusive, participatory activity where everyone can have a role, following directions, finding the answers to our addictive clues, matching pictures and reading snippets about the history of the city and the people that have shaped it.

Our Fluffy tail trail is running all through the Easter Holidays.
Keep your eyes peeled for any signs of the Easter bunny and his friends as they hide around the grounds and gardens these Easter holidays. See if you can spot their fluffy tails as the lead you on a special adventure to collect stamps for your activity booklet, when you’ve found them all come back to the Visitors Centre to claim your prize.
Enjoy the whole day with us visiting the rare breed animals in the Conservation Farm Park, have a play in the adventure playground complete with basket swing and zip wire, have a spot of lunch in the Coach House Cafe and finish off with a browse around the shops. The white rabbit will be hopping his way to Murton Park this Easter, lots of Easter events are running on selected dates between 9th and 18th April 2022, and include re-enactment events, Easter crafts, Easter egg hunts, Birds of Prey encounters, cowboys and Vikings and much more.
Come down to the farm and enjoy all the usual activities plus lots of new ones.
Our ever popular Easter Egg hunt will get your little piggies running around to solve the puzzles and find out where the eggs are! We are so excited to bring back the Tractor and Trailer Ride again which takes you up to the Indoor Play Barn! Packed full of brand NEW play equipment plus snack cafe, toilets and plenty of seating!
The Magic Hatter will be doing regular shows in the Show Tent and of course we have all of our wonderful animals on the farmyard trail!
