What better way of choosing your perfect pumpkin, than actually choosing it from the field it was grown in?! The award winning Balloon Tree Farmshop has a unique take on pumpkin picking…PYO pumpkins! 13 different varieties of pumpkins including white, warty, yellow, blue, and your standard orange. Just come along and grab a wheelbarrow. Take a walk into the pumpkin patch to find the size and shape you like the best, or if you don’t have the time, there will be plenty to choose from in farmshop.
The Jeep Track is open every weekend in October and throughout the school holidays for the children to enjoy.
The Farmshop, Café and children’s play area are all open, so there is plenty of things to do and enjoy.
7 days a week 9 am until 5 pm for the pumpkin picking.

Great activity for the whole family, open from the 7th October. Wheelbarrows provided on arrival, simply pick your pumpkins in the field where they’re grown and enjoy the farm experience. Visit our brand new spooktacular tipi, enjoy some refreshments on site and pose for plenty of photo opportunities!

The glamping site in Flixton, near Scarborough, will be open to the public (not just guests) for October half term, for families to enjoy their Halloween event. Come for the day, or come and stay!
The event is open to the public on 14th, 15th, 18th, 21st, 22nd and 25th October 2023, and daily during half term 28th October to 4th November 2023

Join us for all our usual fun – feeding the animals, playing on our awesome indoor and outdoor play areas and handling the small animals – as well as a trip to our pumpkin patch, back this year even better than before!

The Back to Basics event is a very special event running for the first time this year. For those who like the charm of Spilmans Farm without all the activities. This is a quieter event for those wishing to just enjoy picking in the patch!
