You can now book a magical and memorable children’s birthday party at Castle Howard!
Host your special occasion at the Skelf Island Adventure Playground, Castle Howard’s legendary Adventure Playground with rope bridges, slides, nets and climbing equipment on a magical island on Castle Howard’s North Lake. A beautiful location in the heart of nature for young adventurers and explorers celebrating with family and friends.
Children’s Birthday Parties are available daily in July and August, and on weekends in September.
There are two Birthday Party packages, Regular and Premium.
Regular Birthday Party
- Enjoy exclusive use of the Stretch Tent, a covered space with tables and seating in the Castle Howard Boathouse area, for two hours.
- Access to the Skelf Island Adventure Playground, situated next to the Stretch Tent.
- Delicious Stonebaked Pizza cooked fresh by the Boathouse Kitchen.
- Additional carrot and cucumber sticks, and cartons of juice.
- Entry into Castle Howard Gardens to spend the rest of your day exploring.
- Tablecloths for your tables.
- For up to 20 children and 4 adults.
Premium Birthday Party
- Reserved after our regular opening hours, so you can enjoy exclusive use of the Boathouse Café, and exclusive use of the Skelf Island Adventure Playground.
- Delicious Stonebaked Pizza cooked fresh by the Boathouse Kitchen.
- Additional carrot and cucumber sticks, and cartons of juice.
- Entry into Gardens to spend the rest of your day exploring.
- Tablecloths for your tables.
- Entry into the Gardens, if you’d like to explore before the start of your party.
- For a maximum of 30 children 6 adults.
