Cheese Maker at Acklam

Cheese Maker – Assistant to the Owner

We are a new start up looking for cheesemaker processing both Cow and Goats milk into cheese.

Candidates will need Level 2 Food Safety in Manufacturing. Training will be available.

This is a responsible position and includes record keeping as well as cheesemaking. The cheesemaker will be part of a team.

After initial period good rates of pay. Salary will be reviewed after the first six months.

Hours required will be:

  • Initially one 6 hour day and 1 full day or 2 half days.

Cheese to be made from Unpasteurized Jersey cows milk all year round.

During the summer months

Goats milk will be used to produce the cheese
